My great-grandfather, Amos Hilbert, lived in a time when a person's word was his deed, a firm handshake sealed a deal, and hard work was the way of life. In those days, buildings were constructed to last more than a lifetime.

I am Ken Hilbert, licensed builder and owner of Amos Mountain Homes, Inc. I have a B.S. Degree in Engineering from North Carolina State University and have been a wood craftsman since my teenage years. During my entire career, I have been known for my attention to detail and precision.

It is my goal to bring back the quality and values practiced in my great-grandfather's day. I firmly believe integrity and pride of workmanship are the FOUNDATION for distinguished, precisely built custom homes.
